Artist Statement

"My work encompasses fragility, as if made of porcelain. The opaque dreamscape detaches one from the world to experience dormant poetic expression. In combining my photography, painting, and poetry into printmaking, the process becomes a therapeutic way to relay my emotional state into a tangible form. Inspired by my prose and body, my work mainly consists of self-portraiture. I achieve my work through various photographic and printmaking methods. The greatest benefit of this technique is the unpredictable nature of how each piece will evolve- for that is the art in itself..."
